was really nice.with a very cool selection of designers in a very cool place with a lot of potential and a lovley terrace with trees and benches[see photos:)...yet again i'm aMAZED by the lack of visitors..i mean this was a very good reason to get out of the house and buy some really cool things instead of Zara or something,but ah well...HOWEVER we did have a lovley time and thanks to NOKO for organising the event + thanks to all that showed up:)

the idea behind these was how i would translate my drawings of certain caracters or figurines[in 2D] to items of clothing[in 3D]
and most of the drawings are portraits-faces in a very stylised fashion.
mostly dresssessss,t-shirts,shirts and capes and belts.
...initially i was going to use only blue for this colllection,but than i've added red,white and black to lighten things up.
also all the items are sewed as if inside out,finished-unfinished,most of the items can be worn in more ways than one ,change ,even have 2 faces[like the cape-one blue/one black]...

...shame it was a really fine selection of designers,a nice admosphere plus a really cool band that alas played to a really really tinny audience...more like a party than a fair so...i don't get it,i guess saturday @home is better or something!kidding.. attendance to events in RO it a long story...
still i love the fact some of the new items from the new collection are now in excelent hands:)

hallo,

so it's been a while since i've posted anything here,mainly because i've been working on the fall-winter collection-series-call it as you will, so far it might be called'Not enough black clothing'.it's the first of my creations that features only black and white +variations of those....i'll blog about it proper when it's done.there shall be a proper photoshoot and so on.

well it was rather chilly from one point on...and that's all i'm gona say about it.or mabey i'll just add that just because you CAN mix all that music together it dosen't necesarrrrly mean that you should senior dj.haha.
it's flatteering to see more and more people doing t-shirts with hand drawning and stiched on. some for the better...and some for the worse,but that's life:)
..also thanks to all of those who got stuff from us!..i'm glad the red dress found a home.finally and the accordion +tuba t-shirt will be rightfully apreciated,,the rain boots that i had just painted on a day before..so on:)

had it's cool+funny moments ..like the moment when i was surrounded by girls that where all trying on my dresses[and a pair of trousers] all at oance.wich was a bit of a challange:))so these dresses found owners:

And i was very surprised[mostly because i did them as an experiment at first],but very pleased that people where into the'romanian inspired colection:

and a girl took home this blouse:

and finally the Batman poncho and the gray dress found a home!

and so on,i'm not gona do a shopping list here.ha.ha..though it couldn't be compared to the last fair[ehhh recesssion,fighting the 'vintage giant'-though i have mixed feelings about that because i sometimes customize vintage pices..so i'm sorta inbetween as usual ahaha- and so on.....]i can't really really complain that much either.it was o.k.

AND i'd like to say thank you to all of them above and to others not mentioned for showing up,taking stuff home or just for beeing lovley company[visitors and neighbours included]!!

that i will bring tomorow at V for vintage...
it's loosley based on traditional romanian shapes and patterns.i think the original is so beautiful that if you try and copy it exactly you'd only fail.
that beeing said what i did is i used natural fabrics,shades of red,white , brown and used some of the caracteristics of traditional patterns[geometrics,repetition..]in order to create a drawing motif of my own.wich is a stylised eye.and you could say it's also based on the romanian saying'having eyes on your back'[or something like that for yah english folk hmmm haha]

for the shapes i used the simplest possible patterns square,triangle and rectangle

in order to create a blouse,a dress,a skirt,a cape,a bag,a long cape and leggings.

-the dress[wich is probably my favorit of all:

-the small cape-blouse and the long cape[i'm not that satisfied with the long cape and i think i'll do it again in a thiker fabric,but this one will do for now]:

-the skirt[wich isn't showcased well here because it needs to be worn by someone,but there's no one available at the time:))

so anyways the 2 black dress series i've mentioned and previewed here are finally done.i think it shall be called-'The BLACK BAT series'
..the idea behind it is i took 2 80s party dressess[one is C&A and one had no tagg] and did a bit of cutting and collage and this is the result.i hope you guys and girls like it:)

m-am gandit sa dau toate lucrurile astea la 1/2 di pret-20ron-[sau mai putin de jum in cazul rochiilor de exemplu].si daca luati 2 lucruri..30ron amandoua sau 3lucruri 40ron.incredibil.////
..sunt lucruri comandate si neluate sau returnate[dar in stare buna],lucruri prea mici sau prea mari[pentru unii]..etc...dar de care vreau neaparat sa 'scap' pt ca am destule idei noi si nu mai am loc sa ma desfasor..asa a va rog:)

majoritatea lucrurilor au fost fotografiate in detaliu si foto se afla in older posts daca vreti sa vedeti mai mult decat in foto de mai jos[sunt doar de referinta..]
si NU vopseaua nu se ia.e textila..o data pt totdeauna sa intelegem.

all and all ei good time,though i'd change the looping music playlist next time...who thought they would play 'makarena'-to mention just one of the horrid songs looped from 10-19p.m....but i must mention they changed to one Suede song,the knife and moloko at one point..- 4 times?christ!other than that no complaints the fair was very nice and everyone was cool ,calm and nice aswell. if only a bit crowded,but that is to be expected.
Also thanks to all the people that got a skinny bunny t-shirt,skirt,dress etc:)or just showed up and said hi at one point!
